Spaz Attack

Thoughts from a big spaz who has lots to spaz about.

Ok, so I guess I couldn't stay away for very long.

Last night I woke up crying from a dream. Jason was wanted for robbing a bank. He had robbed the same bank twice. The first time he had gotten $5,000 and wasn't caught. The second time he got the same amount, but he was wasn't as lucky and his picture was all over the news. Most of the dream, I was scared about what would happen and shocked that my husband would commit such a crime.

But the end of my dream was so sad. The police were outside our house waiting for him and we were inside talking. I told him that I knew why he did what he did. We really needed the money and he couldn't see me and Tyler go hungry. I told him that I knew all along that that was the kind of man I married, someone who would take care of me and Tyler no matter what. I was crying because I loved him so much and couldn't bear seeing him go to jail. I told him that he would have to go outside and confess what he did in hopes of getting a lighter sentence. And as he opened the door and stepped out to the lights coming from police cars, I wept.

Then I woke Jason up and told him I loved him.
Too emotional, I know. But, I also know where this dream comes from.
Jason and I've been through a lot this month.
And I couldn't imagine my life without him.

My little angel, Tyler Jaden Kim, was born on March 13, 2005 at 3:39 in the morning. He is a healthy, happy, chubby boy! I love him to pieces already. I could sit and stare at him for hours. He looks like a little cartoon character and loves making faces to make his mommy and daddy laugh.

Sorry I haven't been able to contact so many of you. I am not exaggerating when I say that my labor and delivery was a very difficult one. I promise to give everyone a call once I'm feeling better.

I don't think that I'll be writing in here for a long while, possibly indefinitely. My whole perspective on life has changed, and I just want to spend every moment with Tyler.

Miss you all very much.

I just got back from my doctor's appointment. My doctor said that I could go into labor "any day now," but who am I to believe her? She's the one that told me that she thought I would have the baby two weeks ago!

I spoke to Burt today and it reminded me of how much time has passed. I met Burt when I was in the 8th grade! Later on, he became a surrogate brother to Richard when Claud and I were in college. He will never know how thankful I am that he was there for Rich when we weren't, especially when Rich was going through his junior high "transition" stage.

Time for me to go watch Sad Story, the Korean drama...damn, it's sad!

Last night, I got some stronger than normal contractions and swore that it was THE night, but blah, I'm still here! I have a doctor's appointment today so maybe my doctor will be able to give me some insight as to when I should expect the stork to drop on by.

If you can see the pictures on this page, please let me know. It'll help me figure out what I am doing wrong. The strange thing is that I can see all the pictures on this site if I check on my PC, but not on my Appple...weird. I'll try to fix it later but I'm too bummed out to fix it today. I hate technology (and it hates me too!).

Lately, I been craving to visit Berekely. Since I graduated in 2000, I've had very little desire to go back, but now, I want to walk along Telegraph and spend a whole day eating. I would go to Durant Cafe, eat a bulgogi sandwich (Yumm..those are the best!), Top Dog, and a salad from Intermezzzo. I wonder when I will be able to make this trip to pig out!

Another thing on my list of things that I want to do is walk along the beach. Now that I know we're going back to LA, this will be one of the first places we visit when we get back. I need to show Tyler the California coast!

Thanks for all your suggestions to remedy my acute boredom here. Jen for giving me a site of an extremely malnourished girl, Susan for introducing me to the best word game ever (Text Twist!), and for numerous people who have kept me company on IM.

Hope you have a good Tuesday!

I'm going to see if this produces clearer pictures... This is too much work. I need to find an easier way to download pics...

Ring bearer, Ethan, Jason's nephew

Flower girl, Sarah

Ethan and Sarah walking down the aisle..too cute!

Me and Sarah.

So I always wanted to post some more pictures of the wedding, especially because NO ONE has seen any of them, not even the bridesmaids! Well, the the whole day was fun but I think I had the most laughs in the bridal room with my girlfriends. The quality is pretty bad on this (probably because I don't even know how to scan!)and I'm not sure why it has a pink tint! Oh wells, enjoy! If Tyler doesn't come any sooner, I think I'll be posting pictures from my entire life!

So the bridal room started off like any other room with us getting ready. Here I'm putting on my veil.

And waiting for my Prince Charming!

Of course, SOMEONE HAS TO put up bunny ears behind me! Who is that? I will find out and get you back when you get married! Put it down now!

That's better!

Since I am the Princess of the day, I want all my bridesmaid to help me get ready, as this picture shows!

My bridesmaids are the bomb. Look at the way they oblige! I love Susan's face in this picture!

OK, now we're really getting stupid! What the heck are you guys doing under my veil?! Once again, look at Susan!

Time to put on necklaces...get in a line!

We're done with that...time to conga!

Of course, it wouldn't be my wedding without a cheer. Look at Susan and Claudia get all into it!

Right before heading out the door, everything is sinking in. "AHHH!! Susan, I'm getting married!"

After all this retardness, we had to compose ourselves and head for the church!
