I'm not in much of a mood to blog lately. I go to work, come home butt tired, eat dinner, and go to sleep. Very mundane. I LOVE weekends more than anything. Even a trip to the market with my two men makes for a very exciting day!

hello. hello!

What have we been up to? hmmm... work is alright. I'm 90% glad that I started working again. Just when I can't take it anymore, weekend comes up and I have those two days to rest and recharge for the week. My mother in law is great with Tyler. She even does all our laundry and will cook some food for us. Isn't that awesome?

Oh, one thing about my new school is that the parents are REALLY involved. They help me with library times, gardening (each class gets an area to garden), ALL art lessons, ALL my photocopying (I actually have a parent who only photocopies for me every day for 30 minutes!), does my bulletin boards if I just tell them what to put on it, donates things like crazy, and I even have a head parent who emails all the other parents with information I need them to know...crazy, right? Sometimes, I feel bad...like they are doing my job! I never had so much help at my other schools! It's amazing what the parents are willing to do to help! I'm still getting used to their major presence at school. At my old school, I would be lucky to see the parents on Back to School Night! Which reminds me, at my Back to School Night at this school, my whole room was packed...BOTH parents came and even GRANDPARENTS!!! Crazy right? Well, so far it's been good. Teaching DOES get easier with each year I think. I remember my first year, I wasted so much time planning and stuff. I always left school around 5:00!! Now, I can totally run a classroom just as efficently and still leave 30 mintues after school ends (because I do all my work at recess and lunch). I know this is probably too much information for you non teachers out there...only something Alice could read and appreciate!

Tyler is now officially 7 months old. He can sit and entertain himself more now, which is wonderful. He is trying to crawl and is more alert of his surroundings. He grabs for toys and gets upset when things are taken away.

Well, just wanted to say hi!

Who knew that one day of rest could be sooooo glorious? Tyler and I woke up at 7:00 this morning instead of 6:00 and that one hour made all the difference in the world. Recently, Tyler has grown to HATE his car seat. I really don't understand why because it looks pretty comfortable and other babies seem to love their car seats and just fall asleep when they are in it. Last weekend, we had to pick Jason up from Downtown and Tyler cried for 50 minutes straight! By the time we reached Jason, I was crying! It is very stressful to hear your baby cry for so long! Now, whenever he is in it he cries murder so I really can't take him anywhere unless someone else is with us... sucks, cause I really need/ want to go shopping!

Look how much Tyler has grown!

I finally have all natural hair! Can you believe it? All my colored hair has been cut off and the color of my hair is 100% God given! For some reason, this amazes me. What this really means is that I went through all that time in Portland with two colors of hair on my head. How sad that must have looked. haha. In my head, I just told myself that I couldn't color my hair because I was pregnant. That is true, but really, I must have looked absolutely pathetic.

Yeah, only one day of work and I get Tuesday off. Yipee! I love Jewish holidays!
