Since I asked for a pic of Christine's new haircut, I think it is only fair that I share a pic of hairstyle #1. Messy, but you get the idea. My hair is permed and that's it. No other hair products or coloring. I think it's about time for hairstyle #2, but why bother? It's up in a ponytail 99% of the time!

Two pics of my baby, Chase, affectionately known as Meatball #2. Guess who was Meatball #1.

Wow... it's been a long time since I last blogged. Jason took a week off of work so we've been out of town. I would post pictures but, guess what? I forgot the charger for the camera! So sad that I only have pictures from day one of our trip. I would post pictures of that day but now I can't find my camera! haha...welcome to my world! :)

Day one was spent with Thomas the train. It was incredibly expensive for nothing but I think Tyler had fun. Well, actually, now that I think about it, he had a melt down when we got off of Thomas because he wanted to get back on it. But what is a day without a few tears, right?

Then we spent a few days at La Costa in Carlsbad. It was wonderful because it was Thanksgiving week and the whole place was empty. I saw ONE other family the whole time we were there! I guess not many people are vactioning Thanksgiving week. Anyways, Jason loved that it was empty and said we would always take vacations this week from here on out.

We're moving to Irvine on December 8th! I'm so excited to moving out of our Happy Meal box we've been living in! A real Christmas in a real house!

Tyler will be staying home with me for the next two weeks which means that I probably won't have too much time to blog. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I leave you with a picture of Chase and Tyler with Santa Claus. Tyler was scared of Santa and we had a hard time getting him to smile.

I was talking to someone the other day and we were talking about how Christmas is around the corner and all the gifts that we have to buy. Then, we started laughing about the thought of regifting and she asked me a question, "What is the worst gift you ever received?" After a moment, I had the answer. The worst gift that I ever got was a check that we received for our wedding that bounced. Yup, bounced like J.Lo's booty. I don't care if I never received a gift in the first place, but Jason and I ended up paying fees for the check! Can you imagine a gift that ends up taking money from you?! So, after much thought and talking it over with some people, I decided not to ever bring it up. Actually, when I consulted close friends and family, they would ask some basic questions: Did this person or persons graduate college? Yes. Would you say this person or persons are organized? Yes. Are they rich? I wouldn't say millionaires but they work. And almost everyone said, "The person already knows." I don't know. I like to think that this person did not know. A slight financial mishap perhaps. But, definitely the worst gift I ever received!

What would you have done in this situation? Bring it up? Drop it? It's a sticky situation, huh?

Why you should never keep a journal:

1. What is the point? Who is going to read it afterwards? I kept journals/diaries for most of my high school, college, and after college years for times when I needed to vent and think things out and...I TOTALLY regret it! Last year, I found one diary at Richard's place in LA! It must have gotten from my mom's place to his place accidentally. I can't imagine Rich caring enough to read through it but people who visited his place might have. How embarrassing. When I found it at his place, I started to look through it and I was so appalled and embarrassed by my own words, I had to throw it out immediately. It almost made me want to puke. So, my point being, why keep your downright craziness on paper where other people might get a hold of it? Just keep it in your own heads, people!

2. There might be incidences you just might forget if it wasn't written on paper, and sometimes, truly, some memories are best forgotten! Case in point, I was at my mom's house going through a box of my old stuff and found an old diary. I opened it to one page and this is what I read:

"So, today at school Mr. Brent passed out our report cards in homeroom. Accidentally, he gave me Susan's and gave Susan mine. I guess cause we have the same last name. I looked it and was so happy with all my A's! Then, I looked at the name on the report card and realized that it wasn't even mine! So I told Susan that I got hers by accident. And guess what her reply was? 'Whew! I was scared for a second.'"

HAHAHA!!! I totally forgot about this incident and it was probably best that I had forgotten how bad some of my past report cards were but just because I had recorded this incident on paper, now I got to relive this moment and be embarrassed for my eighth grade ass all over again! hahahaha.... I told Susan about this and she said she had forgotten as well.
