Hey Guys! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Not much is going on lately. Mondays  through Thursdays we have school here from 8:30-1:00. Then from 2:00-5:00 we have other activities (my gym, piano, park, play dates, market, COSTCO!), around 5:30 is dinner, then sleep time routine (bath, bedtime), then the kids sleep at around 7:15! Time for me to clean up and get ready for the following day until 11:00, wake up at 6:00 and do it all over again! Yeah, sounds fun! :) Fridays are our free days and weekends, we do weekend stuff like parties and family gatherings. Anyways, just wanted to say hi to everyone! :)

You know who I think is pretty? Michelle Duggar, you know that mom on tv who has 19 kids! I know she's not a supermodel or anything but I always think that when I see her on tv. She definitely doesn't look like she's had 19 kids and is a grandmother! I think she looks like she is in her 30s. She doesn't wear any makeup, has a beautiful smile, and I just think she is naturally really pretty. Beyond her lack of wrinkles, I think she has such a gentle, wise spirit about her and that makes her even more pretty. I can't put my finger on it, but something about her fasinates me. Her life is so different than mine but I really do admire her!

Our trip to the dentist....Chasey looks a bit scared.
"Thank goodness our dentist is our Auntie Joann who takes special care of us and always gives us toys afterwards!"
"That was a breeze.....I wasn't scared at all!"

I want to go shopping!

It's been pretty bad this past month cause I want to go shopping all the time. At mom's group last week, the ladies were talking about saving money, not wasting it on things we don't need, etc..... and guess what I did right after that meeting? Go shopping, of course! All that talking about shopping made me want to buy something! haha...

It's not like me to want to go shopping all the time. Trust me, I've had major dry spells when I didn't step foot into the mall for months at a time. When we lived in Portland for a year, I went to the mall twice- once when I realized that I needed some stuff for the rainy cold weather and once when I went to buy maternity clothes.

Some girl at moms group was saying that living in Orange County affects her shopping and I totally agree. Like I said, I went a year going to the mall twice in Portland and even when I was living in LA, I didn't feel this NEED to go shopping. And then, we moved to Orange County and everyone seems to be dressed so nicely in all the latest trends and fashions, in all the big name designers and it kind of changes the way you look at things. It's like, "Why can't I get that too?" mentality.

At mom's group one year, three ladies in my group were rocking Chanel purses at our first meeting. I looked down at my Old Navy purse and  felt sorry for myself and made a mental note to go buy a purse that week. Of  course, I didn't go crazy and get a Chanel purse but I did get something nicer than my sad looking Old Navy purse! I didn't think anything about it at the time and just told myself that I needed that new purse but looking back, I think that peer pressure definitely played a huge role in my purchase!

Lately everything looks so cute and I want to buy everything. How much of it do I really need? NONE OF IT. Really, how many shirts and pants do we need? We live in this society where clothes and other material things are so disposable- wear it a couple of times and just get rid of it to get more stuff. I'm guilty of this. And truly- THAT'S SAD.

Anyways, don't know why I'm confessing this all to you at 8:10 in the morning when I should be getting ready for the kids to come. Just something I was thinking this morning (while looking on the internet for my next purchase) that peer pressure in not something that you experience as a pimply junior higher, it hits you even at the ripe old age of 32.

I feel like such a nerd! :)

Tyler went to a Lakers game with daddy, grandpa, and daddy's friend last week. They said it was an exciting game, but Tyler slept for an hour of it. oh wells...Chase, don't worry, we'll take you next time!

I would love to see a Russell Peter's show one day. He is my favorite comedian- everything he says is funny! This one is classic....

Jason and I went to a show hosted by the comedian Danny Cho last night. He was pretty funny so I went on his website to find out more about him and saw these two videos....cracked me up!

He is also starring in some show called KTown Cowboys. It might be fun to watch this as more episodes are released (only the first one is up right now.) It's kind of cool to see all the places I've been to when I was younger. Haha...don't call me a hood rat now! :)

Chase has been calling me "mama" lately and it's so cute! "Mama, where are you?" "Mama, can I have some milk?" Don't know where he picked it up but I find it so incredibly cute because I never asked him to call me that!

The days are a blur and it's going by so quickly. I can't believe Tyler will be starting kindergarten in September. Im still trying to wrap my head around the fact that things will get even more hectic around here next year. Will I be able to handle it? Hmmm....

Ok, gotta run...just wanted to say a quick hello!

Last week Chase didn't want to leave Borders and yelled to me, "Go back there, you stupid mom!" OMG! I was so shocked cause I seriously didn't know he knew that word! So, what did I do? I cracked up and hugged him for being so funny and cute. I am positive that is not the reaction I should have given him but it was so unexpected and hilarious, I couldn't stop myself.
