Some pictures from Tyler's "dol."

I'm so sick of writing about how I'm waiting for June 23, my last day of work. I'm sure you are sick of reading about it too. But, really, that thought consumes me so I feel the need to share. I am so convinced that my mediocre self will be erased once July rolls around. I'm sick of being mediocre teacher, mediocre wife, mediocre mom, mediocre daughter, mediocre sister, mediocre friend. Sometimes, I feel like I'm treading water- just to stay afloat.

There is too much guilt in being a working mom.

You MUST go and get the latest issue of OK! Magazine (with Jessica Simpson on the cover) and look up page 89. You must! :)

I really hate it when people send me messages through friendster. Not that I don't enjoy getting messages, but I end up staying on the site forever! So, if you ever want to reach me, please send me a email to my yahoo account. It would help my sanity oh so much.

I haven't written in here in awhile. Not much going on. I can't believe that it is March and I only have three more months till June. Not sure if I shared online, but I will be taking a year off next year. Tyler needs me and I need a break!

Thursday night, I am seeing some of my old friends from my old school. I am so happy! I really miss the group at 32nd School.

Let me give a shout out to my three new readers: Helen, Michael, Irma! You guys have to start blogs too so I could have something to read!

Jason in going to Taiwan for two weeks in April. One of those weeks I will be on Spring Break so I wish Tyler and I could join him but I think it might be too hard to travel with a baby.

Well, not a very interesting post. Just wanted to say hi!

Jason's parents are moving and, in their efforts to clear out their closets of their children's belongings, we have been getting a lot of crap (Yes, crap.) that belonged to Jason back in the day. Most of it is useless and old and will now add more garbage to our own closets, but one thing did make me laugh: Jason's old yearbooks! I never realized how telling the notes people leave on yearbooks could be. Here are some comments that his friends and acquaintances wrote in his yearbook. The common themes were:

1. "Stop studying."
2. "Thank you for helping me in __________" (Fill in the blank with any subject of choice.)
3. "You will make it to Harvard one day." (Written by someone when Jason was a freshman.)
4. "When you make a million dollars one of these days, I will work for you." (Why the hell would someone write that?)
5. "You are shy."

If I didn't know Jason, but came across his yearbook, I would think that he was a timid shy book worm who studied all the time.

Now, what does that say about me? In my senior yearbook, I swear, the common theme was this: "Don't go to Berkeley and become a hooch!" The word "hooch" is in nearly every note written by someone. Sad!

Hello, I just got back from Tyler's "dol." Man, I'm exhausted. I will be happy if I don't have to put something like that together for a long while. I know I'm suppose to "enjoy myself," like everyone says, but I really can't. Hence, the spaz, right?

It was small and simple. The way I like it. I was pretty bummed that more friends couldn't come, but I guess that was my fault since I gave like people two days notice....opps. I won't do that next time! Thanks to Jenny and Charlie for coming! :)
