Today I didn't go into work because my mother in law had to go somewhere. I guess there is not much a working mother can do when the babysitter calls in sick. I have mixed emotions about it- sad to take the day off and waste a sick day but happy to be at home with my baby and to spend time with Susana!

Natural hair color is so overrated. I'm going back to my light hair. At dinner the other day, David and Rich asked if I dyed my hair black. They also mentioned that I look "goth." Definitely not the look I'm going for. Hopefully I can get a moment to get my hair done during Christmas break.

We're off to SF this weekend for one of Jason's conferences. Wish us luck traveling with Tyler!

Went over to Claudia's last night for our second Thanksgiving feast! We always have two, one with Jason's family and one with mine. We accidently left our leftovers over there and I'm totally sad right now because I am hungry! Tyler is so curious about everything these days. It's funny though. He has a lot of toys, but prefers to play with remote controls, cords, magazines, etc. Anything that he shouldn't be playing with interests him the most. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Three more weeks of school for me and then I get three weeks break. I can't wait!

Happy Thanksgiving! I love this holiday. I like how it makes me think of the things I am thankful for. For me, this year has been life changing. I thank God everyday for the gift of life and for letting me watch my baby grow. After going through this year, my perspective on many things have changed. I've learned that life is short and that it could be taken away at any moment. I was scared to learn this truth, but it has changed me tremendously as a person and I will never be the same.

My baby is growing up!

There is this crazy loud fly in the room right now and it's making my blood pressure rise. I have some work I have to get done for school and it is making me insane!

Two very exciting news to share:

1. Claudia is pregnant!! SOOO exciting! She is expecting sometime in May, and I can hardly wait!

2. Richard just landed his dream job! We are so proud of you, Rich!
