We think Tyler has a little bit of OCD in him. We've noticed some patterns in him that we think are very peculiar, but cute! The sheets he sleeps on has to be smooth and "nice." If it is wrinkled, he will say, "It's ugly" and smooth it out to his liking before he lies down. He has to sleep on his pillow a certain way. If I turn it around, he will say, "No! This way!" He likes to line his trains and toys up a certain way.
One thing that I find rather funny is that he loves cleaning things! I'll give him a diaper wipe or a small wet towel and he will go from toy to toy and wipe it down. Not thoroughly, but he will wipe it down while singing, "Clean up. Clean up. It's time to clean up today." He will do this for about thirty minutes and give me the dirty wipe or towel and say, "All done" when he is done. He was doing this yesterday and I was just watching him in awe. God knows he didn't get the "cleaning gene" from me or Jason!
He also likes putting away laundry. If I am folding laundry, he will take the folded laundry and stack them up neatly in the bedroom, one by one, running back and forth from the living room to the bedroom. He seems to get such a sense of accomplishment from helping me do little things around the house. He's my little man!
Claudia is coming over today and she has plans to bake bread or make cookies with Tyler. I think he will get a kick out of it! I can't wait!
