Spaz Attack

Thoughts from a big spaz who has lots to spaz about.

Just came back from a play date with Christine and both boys are sleeping! Yay!! (Christine, sorry for making Brady play in the hot sun! Next time, you pick what we do!)

Yesterday, I got my bangs cut. For some reason, I think I look more like my mom. Bangs. Fun word, huh? Bangs- It's a good look for me actually. Not tyring to be vain here, but it does do some good in covering up my alien size forehead. When the hairstylist said to me in her Vietnamese accent, "You cut bangs. It look nice on you," my mind starts turning. I'm thinking, "Oh, so bangs would look nice on me, huh? You think I have a big foreheard too, huh?!!" Anyways, I don't think it does all that much as far as camouflage. It even highlights my forehead more. It's like a fat person who wears black all the time. It just looks like you're just trying to hide something. Oh, did you know whenever someone says I sort of, kind of look like a celebrity, it's ONLY because of their foreheads. Tyra Banks. Jenny Mccarthy. I know I don't look ANYTHING like them! Only their foreheads! Nice!

Gotta say a shout out to my cousin Stephanie who missed ONE question on her SATs! Can you imagine? A near perfect score! I knew girlfriend was smart, but I didn't know she was bordering genuis status! Stephanie, we are all so proud of you and can't wait to celebrate with you when you get back from Korea!

Lately, Tyler says his name is Thomas, Chase's names is Edward, Jason's name is Percy, my name is Emily. If you know what these names mean, you must have children. He absolutely loves trains! He has changed our names and other various family members names into train names! I wonder how long this will last.

This is kind of mean of me, but I will share with you. This morning, I was in the bathroom getting ready for church and Jason was watching the kids. Then Tyler was acting up and I could hear Chase crying, and for a split second, I was actually HAPPY they were being BAD for Jason. I thought, "Good. So you know that it's not so easy being home with them all day." Isn't that the meanest thing ever for a wife to think? And, since I'm confessing here: And other times, if Jason is watching them and I'm in the other room and the boys are being little angels, I'll think to myself, "Come on boys, why aren't you acting up? I need your daddy to know that it's not all fun and games around here when he's not around!" I am ashamed to say that I think these things! So mean, huh? Hey, I'm only human!

Congrats to Alice and Annie! I am so excited for you two!

Weddings. Babies. I think this year will be lots of fun!
